Swimming is a technical sport, and sometimes the smallest adjustments can make the biggest difference. Whether you're looking to swim faster, improve your front crawl, become more efficient over longer distances or refine your technique for competition, one-to-one coaching can help you unlock your potential.
At SWIMSMART, I believe the most effective coaching starts with understanding you as an individual. Everyone has different strengths, weaknesses, habits and ambitions, which is why I tailor every session around your specific needs rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.
Coaching Focused Entirely on You
One-to-one coaching gives us the opportunity to concentrate on the details of your swimming. I'll assess your stroke, identify areas that could be holding you back and develop a practical approach to improving them. We'll look at important technical elements such as body position, balance, rotation, breathing, catch, pull-through and timing.
Understand Your Technique Through Video Analysis
One of the biggest advantages of working with me is the opportunity to use video analysis. Seeing your swimming on screen can reveal things that are difficult to recognise while you're in the water. I'll help you understand what's happening, explain why it matters and show you how targeted adjustments can improve your efficiency.
Make Meaningful, Lasting Progress
Rather than simply swimming more lengths, we'll focus on developing better technique and understanding how to make your stroke work more effectively. You'll receive individual feedback, practical drills and clear areas to concentrate on between sessions.
Whether you're an intermediate swimmer, an ambitious triathlete or an experienced athlete looking to fine-tune your performance, one-to-one coaching provides the time, attention and technical insight to help you progress.
I'm based in Chichester and work with swimmers across Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire and beyond.
Your swimming is unique. Your coaching should be too.
